Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
The elementary STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) curriculum in Kansas is designed to foster students' curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and innovation. It integrates these four disciplines to provide students with a comprehensive and hands-on education that prepares them for the challenges of the modern world. The curriculum aims to develop a strong foundation in STEM concepts and skills while promoting creativity, collaboration, and a growth mindset.
The goals of the elementary STEM curriculum in Kansas include:
Science Exploration and Inquiry: The curriculum encourages students to engage in scientific inquiry and exploration.
