The Before and After School Program through the YMCA of Greater Kansas City offers its childcare program to any family within the Spring Hill School District. These programs offer qualified, trained staff who engage our youth in active and purposeful play with an emphasis on disguised learning. That means kids get to exercise their bodies and their minds - while having fun with friends! The YMCA incorporates our Four Core Values HONESTY, CARING, RESPECT, and RESPONSIBILITY into each component of its curriculum.
With Y-Club before and after school, children in Kindergarten through 5th grade will enjoy and benefit from homework enrichment, physical activity, and small and large group activities with a focus on building relationships, finding a sense of belonging as well as enrichment. An afternoon snack is also provided each day.
This YMCA School Age Program (Y-Club) gives parents options for before, after, or both before and after-school care for school-aged children. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities. Part-time spots are limited.
Program hours are from 6:30 a.m. to the start of school, and then the end of school to 6:00 p.m. Care locations include Dayton Creek Elementary, Prairie Creek Elementary, Spring Hill Elementary, Timber Sage Elementary, and Wolf Creek Elementary. These locations are not open on holidays or days when school is not held due to inclement weather. However, other sites may offer care on those days (check with Y-Club staff).
Please make sure you select your child's school to ensure you have the correct Y-Club program registration information.
