Welcome to the SHHS Health Office! Our goal is to keep your student healthy, happy, and in class as much as possible.
Please let me know if your child has any health needs while they are at school so that I may provide the best possible care for them. If a prescription medication needs to be administered during school hours, it must be in a labeled prescription bottle from the pharmacy and be accompanied by a doctor’s order. Any over-the-counter medication needs to be in its original container and accompanied by a note from the parent/guardian. At high school, your student is allowed to carry ibuprofen, tylenol and tums in the original store bought bottle. If your student needs to be out of PE or sports due to an injury, I will need a signed doctor’s note for activity restrictions.
Your child may have vision and hearing screenings performed this year. You will be notified if your child has any difficulties with these screenings.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
