• Welcome to the Health Office at Spring Hill Elementary!

We encourage you to check out the Current Health Alerts section of this web page to stay up to date on health issues at SHES.  As always, please call or email our nurses with any health concerns regarding your child. We would like to be notified of any chronic health conditions including asthma, allergies, seizures, diabetes or special dietary restrictions. Please complete the appropriate health forms for any of the above conditions and keep us updated about any changes in your child’s health such as surgery, injury, medication, or immunizations.

Throughout this school year, we will be completing screenings for hearing, vision, and dental. You will receive additional information as these screenings near. You will only be contacted about the findings if there is a concern or need for additional evaluation.

Our goal is to keep students in the classroom as much as possible. Communication between the health office and parents will be very important to achieve this goal. There are a few illnesses that we would encourage your child to stay home and recover for the safety of your child and fellow students. The Spring Hill School District follows the exclusion recommendations set forth by the Johnson County Health Department. A list of these conditions can be found under health resources. If there is any question about whether your child should return to school, please feel free to contact our nurses.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the health office Monday through Friday, 7:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. We look forward to working closely with you and your students!
