The Prairie Creek Elementary School Site Council meets at least five times during the school year. The meetings are typically in September, October, November, February, and April. Meetings usually last about an hour and are open to the public. The main purpose of the Site Council is to serve as a liaison between the community and school in enriching the school improvement plan. Topics of discussion usually include classroom projects, curriculum, student achievement, current topics, and district-wide initiatives.
