• Welcome to the WSMS Nurse's Office!

    Our goal is to keep your student healthy, happy, and in class as much as possible.

    This is my first year as a school nurse. I have been a nurse for 17+ years and have previously done Pediatric ICU, inpatient pediatrics, pediatric mental health, pediatric cardiology and nephrology, and inpatient adult ICU and floor care. I moved to Spring Hill in 2018 with my husband and five children. 

    Please let me know if your child has any health needs while they are at school so I can provide the best possible care. Prescription medication that needs to be administered while in school must be in a labeled prescription bottle from the pharmacy and have a doctor's order. Any over-the-counter medication needs to be in its original container with a note from a parent/guardian. If your student needs to be excused from PE or sports due to an injury, I will need a signed doctor's note for activity restrictions. 

    Your child may have vision and hearing screenings performed this year. You will be notified if your child has failed any of these screenings.
