Students are strongly encouraged to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities programs at Woodland Spring Middle. The wide range of activities that is available to students helps them explore interest areas and develop talents. Students also enhance their citizenship skills and practice teamwork, which prepares them for life and their continued education.
All activities at Woodland Spring Middle are designed to benefit all of the students involved. Our goal is not only to teach the student participants about the activity but also how it relates to life and how their experiences may help them become more successful in life. By emphasizing basic skills, teamwork, cooperation, effort, and citizenship, sponsors and staff believe that these activities will instill pride, confidence, and build positive self esteem in each student participant.
At our school, students have the opportunity to participate in a long list of activities. These range from academic competitions and leadership opportunities to activities related to the fine arts, like band, strings, choir, theater and more. Community service also is strongly emphasized at Woodland Spring Middle, including giving back to the local community and sharing globally.
