• Hello Timber Sage Family!

My name is Lisa Divine and I am extremely excited to be on the Timber Sage Elementary team! I am a Pittsburg State University graduate and have been a Registered Nurse for 14 years. Over those 14 years, I have worked in the hospital setting, doctor’s office, and telehealth nursing. I joined the USD 230 team in 2020 as a substitute nurse. Having 3 young children of my own I know the importance of keeping them safe and putting them in great hands while you are away. My goal is to help keep your child happy, healthy, and in the classroom to learn. One key factor to achieving this goal is communication between myself and the parents/guardians of the children.

Please let me know of any chronic health conditions such as asthma, allergies, seizures, diabetes, or dietary restrictions. Also, please fill out the appropriate health forms for any of the conditions above. Throughout the year please let me know of any changes to doctor’s orders or health conditions and keep me updated on any new immunizations, surgeries, injuries, and medications. If your child will be taking any medications during school hours, please see the Medication Policy

The Spring Hill School District follows the exclusion recommendations set forth by the Johnson County Health Department. A list of these conditions can be found under Exclusion Recommendations. If you have questions on whether you think your child should return to school, please don't hesitate to call.

During the school year, we will be performing screenings for hearing, vision, and dental. You will be notified if there are any concerns or need for additional evaluation. We will send out additional information as the screenings near.

Please don't hesitate to call or email me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with each one of you and your children. This is going to be a great year!

    Sincerely,

    Lisa Divine, RN, BSN
