• Ranger Families!          Amy Marcum smiling

My name is Amy Marcum and I am the School Counselor at Timber Sage Elementary. I am honored for the opportunity to work with your children this year and be a part of this amazing community!

As your School Counselor, my role is to support students and their families in academic, social-emotional, and career domains through classroom character lessons, small groups, individual counseling as well as collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents. I truly believe we are a team and are better together.

Students can meet with the counselor through various ways. Self-referral or by the referral of parents or teachers. I am also the 504 Coordinator and the Watch D.O.G.S Coordinator.

    About Me

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Relations from MidAmerica Nazarene University and my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Emporia State. I also am a certified Life Coach. This is my 7th year as a School Counselor. I live in Spring Hill with my husband, and have three daughters. My older two are in college and my youngest is an 8th grader at Woodland Springs Middle School. I love spending time with my family, volunteering in the community, the beach is my favorite place to be, summer is my favorite season and our family are huge Penn State fans. Go Nittany Lions!
