• I am very excited for my first year as the School Nurse at Dayton Creek Elementary!

I have over 20 years of nursing experience. Before starting at USD 230, I was employed at the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment as a clinic nurse and health educator for 15 years. I am married and have 3 children!

I encourage you to call or email me with any health concerns regarding your child. I would like to be notified of any chronic health conditions including asthma, allergies, seizures, diabetes or special dietary restrictions. Please complete the appropriate health form for any of the above conditions and keep me informed of any updates or changes in your child’s health including surgeries, injuries, medications or immunizations.

Throughout this school year we will be completing screenings for hearing, vision and dental. You will receive additional information as these screenings near. You will only be notified of findings if there is a concern or need for additional evaluation.

My goal this year is to keep students in the classroom as much as possible, communication between myself and parents will be very important to achieve this goal. The Spring Hill School District follows the exclusion recommendations set forth by the Johnson County Health Department. A list of these conditions can be found under health resources. If there is any question about whether your child should return to school please feel free to contact me.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me Monday through Friday, 7:40 AM to 3:40 PM. I look forward to working closely with you and your student this year and hoping for a healthy year for us all!

    Sincerely,

    Mischelle Robertson, RN, BSN
