Morning classes will still take place today with slight adjustments to avoid impacted areas. However, all afternoon classes at SHELA are canceled for Tuesday, April 14 to allow time for cleanup and preparation.
We look forward to welcoming students back for a normal schedule on Wednesday, April 15. Thank you for your understanding and support.

This honor reflects something truly special already happening in the building, a culture where students are learning not just academics, but how to show up for one another with care, respect, and courage. A special shoutout to the Student Lighthouse Team, who worked incredibly hard to help meet the criteria for this recognition.
We are so proud of our Dayton Creek community for making kindness the standard. 💜 #ExcellenceEveryDay #StudentSuccess #SupportiveEnvironment

Ethan’s achievement reflects his creativity, dedication, and willingness to share his voice, an inspiring example of the opportunities available to all students to grow, contribute, and succeed.
We also celebrated our Forest Spring Middle School students who recently participated in the MathCounts competition. Their problem-solving skills, perseverance, and commitment to academic excellence were on full display as they proudly represented their school.

Spring Hill Middle School has begun a reroofing project that will continue over the coming months.
Throughout Spring Break (March 13–20), crews will be on site from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Once students return, work hours will shift to 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (March 23–May 22) to help minimize disruption during the school day. Construction will continue through the summer and may extend into the fall if needed.
During active work times, you may notice cranes, trucks, and other equipment on site. These will only be present while work is taking place and will not remain out during the school day. (Material staging and contractor parking will be located in the south parking lot near the front entry.)
Thank you for your support as we continue improving our facilities.

Through her role with The University of Kansas Health System – Olathe, Jamie helps keep Spring Hill High School student-athletes healthy, safe, and ready to compete. From injury prevention to recovery, she plays a vital role in caring for our Broncos every day.
Thank you, Jamie, for everything you do for Spring Hill athletes! 💙🏃♂️
