March is National Athletic Training Month, and we’re celebrating the incredible work of our athletic trainer, Jamie Blackim! 👏

Through her role with The University of Kansas Health System – Olathe, Jamie helps keep Spring Hill High School student-athletes healthy, safe, and ready to compete. From injury prevention to recovery, she plays a vital role in caring for our Broncos every day.

👏 Celebrating Outstanding Members of Our Spring Hill Schools Community!

Spring Hill Schools is proud to recognize Teresa Satchell, Special Education Instructional Coach, and Elizabeth Moore, Reading Interventionist at Prairie Creek Elementary, as recipients of a Core Value Award in the areas of World Class Staff, Student Success, and a Supportive Environment. Through their dedication, expertise, and commitment to students and colleagues, Teresa and Elizabeth help create the strong, supportive learning environments that make our district special.

We also want to recognize Melanie Webber, a senior at Spring Hill High School, for designing this year’s Spring Hill on the Move T-shirt. Melanie’s creativity and school pride has been on display throughout the year as students, staff, and community members proudly wear her design. Also a special thanks to members of the Spring Hill Elementary Student Lighthouse Team for leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Thank you to Teresa, Elizabeth, and Melanie for the positive impact you make in Spring Hill Schools!

We were proud to recognize outstanding student achievements from across Spring Hill Schools at the February 23 Board of Education meeting.

🤖 SHHS Robotics
In their first year of competition, Spring Hill High School robotics teams, sponsored by Rachel Elsey, represented our district with excellence throughout the school year. The teams earned strong finishes and are building a solid foundation for future success. We are excited about the growth of this program and what lies ahead!

📚 2026 Spelling Bee Champions
The Board also recognized our elementary and middle school Spelling Bee champions, who demonstrated impressive preparation and academic excellence while representing their schools. Standing on stage to compete individually takes courage, and we are proud of each student for their accomplishment.

Congratulations to all of these students for representing their schools and our district so well. 👏
