Spring Hill USD 230 continues to make steady progress on projects funded through the community-approved Bond 2025 initiative. Construction, planning and financial oversight efforts remain on schedule and within budget as the district addresses enrollment growth, modernizes facilities, and strengthens long-term infrastructure.

Elementary Additions Underway

Classroom additions at three elementary schools are currently in progress to accommodate continued student growth and reduce capacity pressures. Furniture for these spaces was approved in February to ensure the additions are fully equipped and ready for occupancy.

HVAC Replacements Moving Forward

Major HVAC system replacements are underway at Spring Hill Elementary, Spring Hill Middle School and Spring Hill Early Learning Academy. Electrical bids associated with these projects were approved in February and the overall HVAC scope remains within the allocated bond budget.

These upgrades will improve:

  • Air quality and climate control

  • Energy efficiency

  • System reliability

  • Long-term maintenance sustainability

Financial Oversight and Accountability

Bond proceeds and investment earnings continue to track favorably. The district is closely monitoring expenditures to ensure all projects remain aligned with voter-approved parameters.

Monthly financial updates are presented publicly at Board of Education meetings, and all bond-related expenditures require board approval.
