School Year
Well, to draw from the hit 1970s song…“Looks Like We Made It," our 2024/25 school year has come to an end. The past few weeks have seen vocal, instrumental, and orchestra concerts; talent shows; celebrations of student achievements as well as other annual rites of passage, such as, ‘5th Grade Clapout’ and ‘Graduation.' I try to attend as many student events as my schedule will allow, and I am always impressed by the high levels of pride displayed by our students and their families at any event where a student performs and/or is recognized. It definitely takes a village, and without a doubt, Spring Hill Schools always come together to support our students. Thank you for a Great School Year!

Staff Recognition & Retirement Reception 🎉
Milestones of service by our talented staff were celebrated late afternoon on Tuesday, May 20, at WSMS. Among the celebrations noted were the Classified Employees of the Year, Years of Service, and Retirees. All honorees were provided ‘Downtown Dollars’ and a ‘Service Pin’ noting their years of service to USD 230 in 5-year increments. Retirees were also given a permanent memento to keep for their time of commitment to USD 230. It is our staff that truly makes our schools shine!

Summer Message
As we wrap up another school year, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support, kindness, and partnership throughout the year. Your encouragement at home, your participation in our school events, and your continued trust have all helped make this year one to remember!

Henry David Thoreau once said, “Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit.” I hope your summer is full of laughter, sunshine, and all the things that bring joy to your family—whether it's beach days, backyard BBQs, travel adventures, or just some well-earned relaxation.

It is my sincere hope that you have a summer filled with fun, sun, and cherished memories. I’ll be ready to welcome ALL of our Broncos back to school in August!

In the interim, “Link’d in” will go on hiatus until mid-August. However, if a ‘Special Edition’ becomes necessary during the summer, rest assured, I’ll keep everyone informed.

Again, have a Great Summer and reach out anytime.
