Construction continued on the Spring Hill High School career and technical education (CTE) and commons additions during the week of Aug. 31-Sept. 4. Crews moved from site preparation into foundation and underground utility work.
At the CTE addition, crews completed final surveying control, worked on the building pad and began footings and foundations. Work also continued on the south storm sewer line and underground mechanical, electrical and plumbing pathways.
At the commons addition, crews demolished the remaining north vestibule and footings, continued site demolition and prepared the building pad.
The contractor planned to continue work on footings and foundations and to work on the commons building pad the following week. This update reflects the contractor’s Sept. 4 weekly report; planned work is subject to change as construction progresses.
