Construction Update Image with cartoon construction equipment

Crews continued work on the Spring Hill High School career and technical education (CTE) and commons additions during the week of Sept. 21-25. The contractor reported progress on footings and foundations, along with utility work beneath the future floor.

Crews worked on foundations on both the north and south sides of the project and prepared the vestibule area for a concrete pour. They also began underslab plumbing in Area A and worked on storm box revisions. A temporary fire department connection was installed during the week.

For the following week, the contractor planned to continue footings and foundations, install underslab plumbing and electrical systems in Areas A and B, and begin the first slab-on-grade pour. These items are planned work and may change as construction progresses.

This update is based on the contractor’s weekly report dated Sept. 25.
