Work continued on the Spring Hill High School career and technical education (CTE) and commons additions during the weeks of Sept. 8-18. Crews advanced the building pads, storm sewer and foundations.
During the week of Sept. 8-11, crews continued footings and foundations, demolished portions of the commons site and began its building pad. Work also proceeded on the south storm sewer line.
The following week, crews continued the CTE footings and foundations, including rebar and concrete placement in Area A. The contractor reported that the commons building pad was finalized.
The next planned steps were additional footings and foundations and the start of underslab plumbing. This update is based on the contractor’s reports dated Sept. 11 and 18.
