Work continued on HVAC upgrades at Spring Hill Elementary and Spring Hill Middle School during the week of June 8-12 as crews advanced demolition, structural improvements and mechanical system installations.

At Spring Hill Elementary, crews continued overhead ductwork and electrical rough-ins while completing structural upgrades in some areas. Work also included installation of the main switchboard panel, back-feed rough-ins and generator delivery and hookup. Progress photos showed completed joist installation, ductwork installation and additional ductwork deliveries staged for installation.

At Spring Hill Middle School, crews continued demolition activities while advancing duct and electrical rough-ins. Structural upgrades continue, including coring for duct penetrations and installation of lintels. Crews also installed the main switchboard panel and completed back-feed rough-ins. Progress during the week included joist installation, duct installation and preparation for additional mechanical system work.

Looking ahead, work at both schools is scheduled to focus on completing overhead ductwork and electrical rough-ins, beginning drywall installation in completed areas and continuing infrastructure improvements needed to support the new HVAC systems. Spring Hill Elementary is also scheduled for a building power shutdown, transformer installation and power transfer during the upcoming week.
