Construction continued across all three Spring Hill Schools bond project sites during the week of May 4-8, according to Newkirk Novak Construction Partners and DLR Group.

Spring Hill Elementary

Work at Spring Hill Elementary during the week of May 4-8 included site concrete curing, drywall returns at windows and doors May 4-5, glazing of the south doors, and installation of exterior metal panels and flashing May 4-5. Crews also completed the first coat of paint and prime May 6-8, and the rooftop unit was set. The following week, crews planned to saw cut asphalt May 11, complete remaining asphalt demolition May 12, and place asphalt base rock and asphalt May 13-15. HVAC trim-out was scheduled for May 12-13, with electrical trim-out continuing May 12-15.

Prairie Creek Elementary

At Prairie Creek Elementary, crews completed masonry and drywall work May 4-6, finished drywall May 7-8, and set the rooftop unit during the week of May 4-8. The following week, masonry and finish drywall work were scheduled to continue through May 11-13, with rooftop unit startup planned for May 13-15 and the first coat of paint and prime set to begin May 14-15.

Timber Sage Elementary

Timber Sage Elementary crews completed air barrier and waterproofing work May 4-5, roof insulation at the sloped roof May 6-7, and roofing May 7-8 during the week of May 4-8. Electrical overhead rough-in and hydronic piping and gas rough-in also continued throughout the week. The rooftop unit set was listed as dependent on roofing progress. The following week, flat roof work was scheduled for May 11-13, sloped shingle roofing for May 14-15, and the rooftop unit set for May 12.
