Construction Update Image with cartoon construction equipment

Construction crews made steady progress across all three Spring Hill Schools bond project sites during the week of April 6–10, with interior finishing work advancing at Spring Hill Elementary, envelope work continuing at Prairie Creek Elementary, and rapid mechanical and framing activity underway at Timber Sage Elementary.

Spring Hill Elementary crews focused on two primary scopes this week: masonry work continued through the full reporting period, and crews were actively finishing and mudding drywall throughout the week. Looking ahead to the week of April 13–17, masonry is scheduled for completion by April 17, electrical overhead rough-in will run April 13–16, and the first coat of paint and prime is set to begin across the site April 13–17.

Prairie Creek Elementary saw significant envelope progress during the week, with crews completing sloped shingle roofing, installing temporary windows and doors, completing soffit blocking and fascia board work, and continuing electrical overhead rough-in. The following week will bring flat roof roofing, completion of remaining waterproofing through April 14, and installation of additional temporary windows and doors, with the building targeted to be fully dried in by April 17.

Timber Sage Elementary had one of the busiest weeks across the three sites, with crews completing existing wall flashing tie-in, interior framing, soffit framing around the high structure, sloped roof insulation, air barrier and waterproofing, in-wall blocking, duct rough-in, sprinkler rough-in, and the start of in-wall electrical and plumbing — all within the April 6–10 window. For the week of April 13–17, in-wall electrical and plumbing work will continue, air barrier and waterproofing will resume on April 13, soffit framing around the high structure will carry through April 14, high structure soffit blocking is scheduled for April 14–15, and sloped shingle roofing is set to begin April 15.
