Spring Hill Schools Bond Project – Weekly Construction Update Week of February 9–13, 2026
Construction activity continued across all three Spring Hill Schools elementary projects during the week of February 9–13, with crews making steady progress on framing, structural steel, and concrete work at each site.
Spring Hill Elementary crews focused on exterior framing and structural work during the week. The RTU curb was set on February 9, and exterior framing continued throughout the week of February 9–13. Lintels were installed and curb materials were delivered and placed on site. Looking ahead to the week of February 16–20, crews will continue exterior framing and sheathing (February 16–19), begin roof drain rough-in (February 18–20), and complete exterior window and door blocking and frame parapets on February 20.
Prairie Creek Elementary saw site utility and structural steel work advance during the week. Site utility tie-in work was completed between February 9–13, and steel erection began on site during that same period. Sanitary excavation was completed, columns were placed, and beam installation began. The coming week of February 16–20 will bring continued steel installation, with steel completion anticipated on February 20. A Topping Out Ceremony is scheduled for February 23 at 2:00 P.M.
Timber Sage Elementary crews completed slab preparation and placement during the week. Slab prep ran from February 9–12, with slab placement occurring on February 12. Joist and deck materials were delivered to the site in two separate deliveries on February 9 and February 13, and diamond block-outs and base materials were placed in preparation for upcoming steel work. Next week, steel installation is scheduled to run February 16–20, with a Topping Out Ceremony planned for February 19 at 2:00 P.M.
