Construction continued across Spring Hill Schools elementary bond projects during the week of Feb. 2–6, with crews advancing structural framing, slab completion and underground utility work at all three sites.
At Spring Hill Elementary, crews completed diamond block-out installation and grout work early in the week. Joist installation was completed, and decking installation began and progressed through the end of the week. Multiple inspections were conducted, including weld washer, grout, structural steel, and final decking and steel inspections. Work is scheduled to begin in the coming days on rooftop unit curb installation and exterior framing.
At Prairie Creek Elementary, crews completed in-ground electrical work on Feb. 2 and continued with slab preparation and concrete pours through Feb. 4, completing the slab placement. Steel delivery and mobilization occurred on Feb. 5, positioning the site for steel erection, which is scheduled to begin the week of Feb. 9.
At Timber Sage Elementary, crews progressed with underground plumbing rough-in work through Feb. 4, followed by in-slab electrical rough-in through Feb. 5. Slab preparation work was completed by Feb. 6. Upcoming work includes continued slab preparation and slab placement on Feb. 12, with joist and deck delivery scheduled in two shipments arriving Feb. 9 and Feb. 13.
