Spring Hill Schools continued progress on voter-approved bond projects during the week of Jan. 5–9, 2026, with construction activity advancing at Spring Hill Elementary, Prairie Creek Elementary and Timber Sage Elementary. Work remained on schedule overall, despite brief weather delays.
At Spring Hill Elementary, crews completed a slab-on-grade concrete pour, stripped forms and installed perimeter blocking. Safety guardrails and handrails were installed, and cold-formed metal framing materials were delivered to support upcoming wall construction. One weather delay occurred on Jan. 8.
At Prairie Creek Elementary, construction focused on underground infrastructure. Crews excavated trenches, installed a new underground storm line and completed demolition of existing stoops. One rain-related weather delay was reported on Jan. 8 as site preparation continued ahead of foundation work.
At Timber Sage Elementary, crews relocated and tied in a water line, completed the connection and began backfilling. Site work also included the start of the building pad. One weather delay occurred on Jan. 8.
Looking ahead to the week of Jan. 12–16, construction is scheduled to continue with building pad completion, footing and foundation work, installation of permanent wall systems and application of air barriers where applicable at each site.
