Spring Hill Schools is proud to announce that three of our district leaders have been chosen to participate in statewide professional development programs through the Kansas Association of School Boards (KASB).
Eric Tyler, Director of Human Resources, has been selected for the 2026 Thrive class, a year-long HR leadership cohort. Thrive participants meet throughout the year at sites across Kansas to learn best practices in HR law, employee management, workplace culture, and compliance with state and federal requirements. The program also emphasizes networking and peer support among HR professionals across the state. (Read more)
Scott Peavey, Director of Communication & Engagement, will join the ACES (Academy for Communication and Engagement in Schools) cohort. ACES is designed for education communication professionals to expand their skills in public relations, crisis communication, and community engagement, while also developing district-tailored communication strategies and building strong professional networks. Kyley Delphia, Director of Facilities, has been named to the 2025-26 BOLD (Business Operations Leadership Development) cohort. BOLD focuses on the key areas of school operations that support student success, including facilities master planning, finance, technology planning, procurement, risk management, school security, and human resources. Participants gain practical strategies and statewide perspectives on how to strengthen district operations. (Read more)
