Spring Hill Schools USD 230 is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Classified Employees of the Year awards: Brandon McCutcheon (Education Service Center), Jennifer Anderson (Spring Hill High School), and Giuseppe “Joe” Orlando (Timber Sage Elementary School). These honors recognize exceptional classified staff members who have gone above and beyond in service to their schools and community throughout the academic year.

Brandon McCutcheon – 2025 Classified Employee of the Year: Facilities, Grounds, Nutrition, & Technology

A member of the grounds crew at the Education Service Center, Brandon McCutcheon has served the district for 18 years. Known for his reliability and positive spirit, Brandon plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and well-prepared campus.

“Brandon is a true asset to USD 230 and SHMS. He’s always quick to respond, ready to help, and goes above and beyond to keep our campus safe, clean, and prepared. Whether fixing a fence, mowing before a game, or assisting with unexpected tasks, Brandon brings a 'can-do' attitude and pride in his work. Though he works behind the scenes, his impact is felt every day.”

Jennifer Anderson – 2025 Classified Employee of the Year: Office Personnel

Jennifer Anderson, administrative assistant at Spring Hill High School, has been part of the Spring Hill Schools community for seven years. Her behind-the-scenes dedication ensures smooth operations and unwavering support for students and staff alike.

“I say with confidence our school would not run as smoothly as it does without the tireless effort of Jennifer Anderson. She supports our staff, ensures we have what we need, helps with administrative follow-through, and quietly takes care of a million other things. She listens, supports, and represents the heart of who we are at SHHS.”

Giuseppe “Joe” Orlando – 2025 Classified Employee of the Year: Paraprofessional

Joe Orlando, a paraprofessional at Timber Sage Elementary, is recognized for his outstanding work during his first year with the district. His dedication, positivity, and deep connection with students have made a remarkable impression.

“Mr. Joe is absolutely one of the most dedicated teachers I have ever encountered. His positive attitude is contagious, and he works incredibly hard. He wears multiple hats without hesitation and always finds a way to get things done. Our students and staff admire him deeply. We love you, Mr. Joe!”

All three honorees were nominated by their peers and celebrated at the district’s 2025 Recognition Reception. Spring Hill Schools proudly thanks and congratulates Brandon, Jennifer, and Joe for their extraordinary contributions to student success and the district community.
