Our school objective is that by Spring of 2028, 90% of Dayton Creek students will score at or above the proficiency benchmarks on district and state assessments. In order to achieve this, our target growth each year is to have at least a 5% increase in the number of students scoring Levels 3 & 4 in KAP. Visit the following links to learn more about our district strategic plan for success, school improvement plan and assessment of needs.
As we begin the KAP state testing period, your support is invaluable in helping our students prepare and feel confident. We encourage regular attendance, a good night's sleep, and healthy meals to ensure they are ready to do their best. Linked below are the materials you can review with your students at home as well as the KAP Parent Guide. Thank you so much for your active partnership in supporting our students’ success!
Testing Schedule:
March 31: Leader in Me MRA Survey
Leader in Me MRA Survey window opens for staff, families, and 4th-5th Grade students. We encourage active participation in completing this survey as the MRA score is our primary measure of success towards our building social-emotional learning goal:
By Spring of 2028, student leadership roles will lead to an overall MRA score of 85 or more in the categories of leadership and academics.
