Cavaliers in Action: January 20-24, 2025
Good Morning Cavalier Families,
We’ve had a fantastic start to the second semester with a successful first full week back! Students and staff are diving into learning with enthusiasm and focus, setting the tone for an exciting and productive semester ahead. To help set up our Cavaliers for success this semester, let’s keep encouraging our students to practice our B.O.L.T. behavior—Be Respectful, Observe Safety, Lead with the 7 Habits, and Take Responsibility. Together, we can ensure a safe, supportive, and thriving school environment for everyone!

KAP Predictive Interim Testing Week for Grades 3-5
We kindly request your assistance in ensuring that your child is present and punctual throughout the testing period. Sufficient sleep and rest are also beneficial. These practices contribute significantly to overall student wellness and readiness for the testing sessions.
Kansas Assessment Program (KAP) provides Predictive Interim assessments in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics that are aligned to state curriculum standards. This helps predict future performance of our students on the Kansas summative assessments in the Spring. Our active engagement in this interim assessment ensures that we remain engaged in feedback and instruction— measuring students’ success in learning material and providing our school with data to make programmatic decisions to help improve student achievement.
