Hello everyone! Just reaching out to touch base with you about Field Day again. Field Day 2024 is on May 20th (a Monday) with two separate sessions. 

• Kindergarten- 2nd grade will all go from 8:10-10:35. 

• 3rd grade- 5th grade will be going in the afternoon from 12-2:30. 

*Please note that 3rd-5th Grade will have a water game on their Field Day, so if you want to pack extra clothing for your child you can. 

All classes will have a class color that they can wear to be a team.

 I really appreciate all the help I can get to make this day as successful as possible. When you arrive at DCES please enter through the office and I’ll meet you in the middle hallway between the library and the lunchroom to let you know where you will be and to give you your game description. If you are volunteering for K-2 in the morning, then please arrive before 7:55. If you are volunteering for 3-5 in the afternoon, then please arrive before 11:45.  I have set it up to where hopefully there will be 2 volunteers at each station to make it easier.  If you have any questions about anything please don’t hesitate to call or email me at 913-592-8125 and hodged@usd230.org.
