Today, Ms. Wilm and Mr. Maples co-taught our 6th grade Social Science classes to help students learn about Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs. Students learned about King Tut, Cleopatra, Khufu, Ramses II, and Hatshepsut. They learned about their accomplishments and what made them “famous.” Some activities included learning about Hatshepsut's trade routes, King Tut's short reign, what made Ramses II a good leader, and so much more. Students then analyzed the information they gathered and used it to vote on which pharaoh they thought was the best leader.
