8TH GRADE PROMOTION ACTIVITIES

May 24th will be here before we know it!!  Below are activities you and your student can look forward to…

Tuesday, May 24th:   Partial day for the 8th-grade class.

9:15 am – 8th Grade Awards Assembly in the WSMS Multipurpose Room

At the Awards Assembly we will celebrate the accomplishments of our 8th grade students.  We will do the following recognitions:

• Honor Roll
• WSMS Citizenship
• KSHSAA Citizenship
• President’s Award
• Sport’s Recognitions and Letters
• Promotion Certificates  

10:30 am –  8TH GRADE WILL BE DISMISSED

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm– 8th Grade Activity Night on the WSMS Grounds.

This will include a DJ on the east side, basketball, outdoor games, and snacks.  

In case of Rain - If the weather is such that we cannot be outside, we will move into the gym.  

** We will watch the weather and make a determination by Monday afternoon and send a message to families by 4:00 pm  

Wednesday, May 25th:  NO SCHOOL FOR 8th-GRADE STUDENTS
