Spring Hill and Woodland Spring Middle School choirs, under the direction of James Scroggins, spread some holiday cheer to others with a caroling tour on Friday, December 17th. The combined choirs performed at each of the district elementary schools, beginning at Prairie Creek and working south to Spring Hill Elementary. Songs included Christmas Melody (featuring solos by SHMS’s Juliet Mayo and WSMS’s Paige Jackson), Carol of the Bells, S’Vivon, and Candy Cane Lane. Each performance ended with a singalong with the audience. 

Wolf Creek was treated to an impromptu a cappella performance due to technical difficulties. Mr. Scroggins noted that the choirs met the challenge beautifully, “The choirs continue to amaze me every day.”

To conclude the tour, they visited the Board of Education offices. Afterwards, the choirs celebrated with lunch in Olathe!!!
