SHMS students completed the iReady math diagnostic tests this week. The test helps math teachers know where to target their instruction, identifies the skills students need to practice, and shows whether students met their expected target growth based on where they started at the beginning of the year.
Each grade level was divided into two groups, with one group testing in the morning and the other group testing after lunch. This schedule allowed students to finish the testing in one session with less class disruption. Sixth graders took the diagnostic on Monday, seventh graders on Tuesday, and eighth graders on Thursday.
Results are available right away. If you are interested in your child’s results please reach out to their math teacher.
