The Spring Hill Schools Board of Education approved Dr. Courtney Weber as the Spring Hill Middle assistant principal/athletic director for the 2023-24 school year.

“I am very excited to be joining the Spring Hill Middle community next school year,” said Dr. Weber. “I cannot wait to get to know each student and family, and to learn about the traditions and greatness that exist at SHMS!”

Dr. Weber is currently serving as the principal/academic administrator for the Insight School of Kansas. She has spent a total of 15 years in education, holding other positions which included assistant principal in USD 231 and associate coordinator of secondary services in USD 512.

In 2008, Dr. Weber received her bachelor's degree in special education from Miami University. In 2011, she earned her master’s degree in special education from the University of Kansas. In 2016, Dr. Weber received her doctoral degree in educational leadership from Baker University.

In February 2023, current SHMS Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Jennie Skibbe was named the principal of Prairie Creek Elementary, effective for the 2023-24 school year.
