Spirit Weeks at WSMS, 04/26/2024

This week we are celebrating Stallion spirit at Woodland Spring Middle School. Spirit weeks always involve fun outfits for the students and teachers alike. These events are sponsored by different activities and clubs including this week’s sponsor, Student Council.  The themes this week were very creative. ‘Merica  Monday, Soccer Moms and BBQ Dads Tuesday, Pjs, leggings, or crocs (for PLC) Wednesday, Jersey Thursday, and Class Color War on Friday, (6th grade black, 7th grade gray, 8th grade purple).

To conclude the week, students will be participating in a pep assembly. We can expect to see students competing in games and battling for the highly coveted spirit stick. To earn the spirit stick each grade takes their turn cheering as loud as they can. When the purple and black stick is raised in the air, our students stomp and scream so loudly the building seems to shake. By the end of the assembly we all leave with ringing in our ears and extra pride for our school. Spirit days provide a little extra fun and creativity for everyone involved.
