READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK is an exciting time to focus on the joy of books and reading. This year, Wolf Creek Wranglers tried to read books about the different USA habitats and mark them off on our giant map. Each grade level had to work together to read six books representing six different regions in the United States:  forest, swamp, prairie, desert, mountain, and ocean. Classroom teachers read books to students and we charted our progress on the big map. The goal was to have all grade levels read all 6 books by the end of the week. The good news is…WE MADE IT! We will celebrate with a beach-themed spirit day on the Friday before Spring Break!
