Wolf Creek Families,

 

This week the cold weather brought us some inside recess, but we had a great week in spite of it!

 

Today we held an end-of-quarter celebration, our Leadership and Character Awards. Congratulations to the following students who were recognized:

 

Stasi Furstenberg, Jason Gillespie, Charlie Taylor, Logan Brown, Brooke Foley, Elijah McKay, Natalie Dickerson, Brecken Ell, Natalie Valenzuela, Amos Bones, Ava Towell, Colton Salsgiver, Tommy Cox, Grace VerHeuel, Nora Roth, Dusti Dickerson, Raelynn Carrol, Cara Charlesworth, Elijah Kanary, Kenna Adkins, Iris Thomas, Aria Otte, Carsyn Book, Adalyn Jaklevich, Reed Nelson, Rylan Hojnacki, Jalen Echols, Emberly Rehmsmeyer, Claire Vanleeuwen, Isabelle Wade, Logan Orrick, Nerea Aranda-Martinez, Benson Zeller, and Layla Beall!

 

We also wrapped up our Toys for Tots drive. Wolf Creek collected over 300 toys for children in need. I heard great conversations in the classrooms about how good it feels to make a difference at this special time of year. Nice job Wranglers!

 

This will be our last Wrangler Roundup for 2024. Our sweet district has faced some significant challenges this month. When things are hard, I am reminded how grateful I am to work in such a special place. This community is second to none when it comes to a supportive environment.  I wish you and your families peace and joy this holiday break.

We’ll wrap up the semester with an all-school pajama day on Friday the 20^th

 

Winter break begins December 20, 2023 at 3:10 with a regular dismissal that day.  Students have no school December 23^rd through January 3^rd and return to school January 6, 2025.  Teachers and staff will be reporting back for Professional Development on Friday, January 3^rd .
