Notes from Mrs. Cooper, 11/25/2024

Wolf Creek Families,

We enjoyed seeing so many families at the Turkey Trot last Friday. It was a fun evening and doubled as a fundraiser for our Spring Hill food and clothing pantries. This week we enjoyed our third and fifth grade music programs. The students did an amazing job.

Monday the 25th teachers will return for professional development on helping students with self-regulation and assisting ELL students in the classroom. We always value this time to get together and learn.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. We’ll see you in December!

A Note from Student Council

The WCES Student Council is excited to announce that we will be accepting donations for Toys for Tots from December 2nd-December 10th. Students can bring in new toys around the $10.00 price range (such as legos, books, dolls, art supplies, etc.). Grade levels will be “reindeer racing” to the North Pole to try to earn an ice cream treat, while learning the importance of giving back to the community. If you have questions, please reach out to Miss Ozier (oziera@usd230.org) or Ms. O’Malley (omalleya@usd230.org).
