Youth Art Month

March is Youth Art Month. We would like to spotlight Ms. Seichepine and all the ways she inspires creativity with her student artists!  This year, Ms. Seichepine has been teaching the elements of art and principles of design.  Students have their own art sketchbooks that highlight the elements of art and principles of design. As a class, they discuss this concept and practice it in their sketchbook.  Then students each create a project to find out just how this element or principle can be used in their artwork.

Ms. Seichepine is also working with students to set a WIGS (Wildly Important Goals) to become a better artist this year. Students are taking their own personal artwork up a notch by incorporating the elements of art and trying new techniques.

Students’ artwork is hanging around the walls at Wolf Creek, and some students’ art pieces are hanging in the Wolf Creek front office.  Their artwork is also displayed around the community of Spring Hill at the Bean Coffee Shop and the Civic Center!
