Things are shaping up to be a fantastic February!  If you are a Chiefs fan, you are anxiously awaiting the return trip to the Super Bowl.  Here, closer to home, we are excited to visit parents during conferences.  Please be sure to read the newsletter for details on how to sign up for an appointment.  If your child turns 5 years old by August 31, 2023 they are ready to transition to Kindergarten.  Kindergarten Roundup is Friday, April 7, 2023.   Please sign up for Kindergarten Round up at your attending school.  

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 15th, and Thursday, Feb. 16th. The conference scheduler will open on Feb. 1st at 8:00 a.m. to allow you to pick your conference times. The scheduler will close on Feb. 10th at 3:00 p.m. You may view a conference scheduler tutorial here. After that date, you will need to contact your child’s teacher to set up a conference. We hope to see all families here at conference time! Please call the office or email your child’s teacher if you have any questions. 

The SHELA attendance schedule is a little different for Parent/Teacher Conference Week. 

Here is the conference week schedule for SHELA classes:

Monday, February 13 Classes meet as scheduled
Tuesday, February 14 Classes meet as scheduled

Wednesday, February 15 Morning classes will not meet as teachers prepare for conferences.

Afternoon classes meet as scheduled and buses will run as scheduled.

Thursday, February 16 Spring Hill Early Learning Academy will not have classes

Friday, February 17 Spring HIll Early Learning Academy will not have classes

Monday, February 20 No classes in observance of Presidents’ Day

Tuesday, February 21        Classes resume as scheduled
