The Spring Hill School District plans to locate their fifth elementary school in the Dayton Creek Subdivision near 191st Street and Lone Elm, Spring Hill. At the March 18, 2019, Board of Education meeting, the Spring Hill School Board voted unanimously to enter into a contract with Dayton Creek developers.

Superintendent Dr. Wayne Burke says, “The Spring Hill School District appreciates the partnership with the developer of Dayton Creek who is generously contributing infrastructure and development assistance, which was instrumental in making this project possible.”

The project timeline for Dayton Creek Elementary School calls for a 6-month design and bid phase, 17 months for construction with an anticipated opening for the 2021-22 school year.

“We are grateful to our community for supporting this elementary school during the 2018 bond election and to Dayton Creek for their generous partnership,” said Board President Doug Updike.
