The safety and security of our students is of the utmost importance.  After more than a year of study by the District Safety Committee, the Spring Hill School District is implementing a strategy known as the A.L.I.C.E. plan for Schedule I/Lockdown procedures.  A.L.I.C.E. is an acronym for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate and is endorsed by federal, state and local law enforcement officials.  Please see the letter below from our Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Wayne Burke:
