Where am I?
Welcome to Wolf Creek Elementary School! We have created a wonderful learning environment for our students where you and your family will quickly feel at home. As the principal of Wolf Creek Elementary, I am committed to creating a school community where each child reaches his or her potential academically, socially and behaviorally.
Student safety is our highest priority. WCES, as well as our other district facilities, utilize security cameras that provide both live and historical video surveillance. Electrified door hardware at the main entrances allows us to manage the flow of visitors into the building. The district also utilizes a variety of technologies for building communication that allows staff to provide necessary alerts and information to staff and students. The safety infrastructure along with a staff committed to student safety will provide an environment where students and parents feel secure without losing the feeling of community and warmth that we strive to create.
Wolf Creek Elementary is home to approximately 450 students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. The building features warm colors, state of the art technology, and a great deal of natural light in a building designed specifically for student educational, social and physical development.
We recognize that parents are our students’ first and best teachers. Parent involvement is welcomed and encouraged. This powerful partnership helps to ensure the success of our students. WCES has a Parent Teacher Organization, which I encourage you to be a part of as well as many volunteering opportunities including Watch D.O.G.S (Dads of Great Students), classroom volunteers and field trip volunteers. Whether it be working with your child at home, attending parent conferences and school events or volunteering for PTO or in the classroom, all of your efforts are appreciated and help us to build a strong foundation for our students.
