About Our School

Spring Hill High School (SHHS) is a four-year comprehensive high school with approximately 600 students in grades 9 through 12, and it is fully accredited by the Kansas State Department of Education. The high school is part of the Spring Hill School District, which serves the city of Spring Hill and areas in Johnson and Miami Counties. Here's more about our school:

  • SHHS Broncos have a graduation rate of 98 percent and more than 85 percent of the students continue their education after high school.
  • In 2009, SHHS was recognized as one of two Kansas Service Learning Leader Schools for integrating curriculum with community service. Our Volunteer Club will now serve as a model for other schools.
  • Each year our high school has been given a citation for Standard of Excellence in at least one curricular area.
  • Spring Hill High School participates in the highly competitive Frontier League in a variety of sports: football, cross country, golf, volleyball, tennis, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, softball, baseball, soccer, and track.
  • We are very proud of our many arts activities: band, jazz band, choir, orchestra, dance, drama, forensics and debate.
  • The FFA program has been recognized at the state level and nationally.
  • Building Report Card
  • District Facts

At SHHS, students are encouraged to excel in their studies, keep school a focal point, be involved, be good citizens and have fun. We feel strongly that our positive school climate makes for a successful and rewarding learning experience.

It's Great to be a Bronco!
