Middle School Winter Vocal Concert
December 13, 2011
Director: James Scroggins
On Tuesday December 13, 2011 the vocal music students will present their winter concert “Belles and Beaus.” The 6th grade will perform their concert at 6:45pm and the 7/8th grade will perform at 7:30pm.
The 6th grade choir will be performing for the second time this school year. Many of them have never been a part of a singing group. They will be singing partner and canon style songs. In addition, folk songs, along with winter and holiday songs, will be a part of the song selection. They have come a long way since the first day of school.
The 7/8th grade choir will be performing for the second time this school year. They will feature a couple of songs from their experience at the Frontier League Vocal Festival in October. This choir will also perform some holiday favorites and conclude with a piece that involves candles.
