Principal's Message

Welcome to Spring Hill Middle School. I trust that you will find SHMS to be an excellent educational setting with outstanding kids and a very caring and supportive faculty and staff. Our SHMS educators realize that this particular transitional period in a child’s life is of vital importance to their physical, mental and emotional growth. We believe that our school should exist for the purpose of individual student and group growth and to provide numerous opportunities for student success. We are committed to providing a safe, positive climate that is student-centered and is conducive to learning.

As building principal, I emphasize three themes with our school populace everyday: Respect; Responsibility; and Safety. At SHMS, we are all expected to live by “The Golden Rule.” We also definitely believe that “Education is a Shared Responsibility.” This motto implies that students, staff members and parents must work in a spirit of cooperation and mutual focus and support so that our students may then attain the highest levels of expectations.
