Family Nights
Family nights at Spring Hill Intermediate School are a wonderful way for parents and students to work together on a project enhances the learning process and is fun for all!
Specifically, SHIS Science nights are designed to bring parents and students together to experience science. The nights are set up with problems for families or groups to solve. In the past, participants have tested and identified mystery powders, explored paper airplanes, built towers and lately designed a container that would protect an egg from a drop off the school roof. All the experiments are designed to be creative and challenging while following scientific method. They also create a lot of laughter and fun!
