Where am I?
Principal's Message
Greetings Intermediate School Families,
It is with great pleasure that I write to welcome you to the 2011-2012 school year. I hope your summer has been filled with fun family activities. It is hard to believe that summer is concluding as we prepare for the start of another school year. I speak on behalf of the entire staff when I say that we are fortunate to work with such an awesome group of students and families.
Our theme for this year is Dream! Believe! Achieve! Last year we talked every day about what it takes to be a champion in the classroom and in life. In the coming school year we will encourage our students to dream about their future. They will be challenged to set academic and personal goals on a daily basis. Our students will also have opportunities to set longer-term goals and plan how they will achieve their mission. We recognize as a staff that it takes a true partnership between the school and families to help our students dream, believe, and achieve their goals. As partners, both parents and staff can guide our students on this journey to success by talking with, listening to, supporting and setting positive examples for them to follow.
There is much excitement ahead of us. I look forward to working you and your child(ren) as we learn to dream believe and achieve together. To get started on our journey, I have included some important dates below.
