Successful and Yummy Chocolate Breakfast
Beautiful Recital!
Saturday February 11th was a busy day for our students! After the Chocolate Breakfast, many students then packed up their instruments to perform in the Recital at the High School. This was a fantastic opportunity to perform on stage. We had over 15 students perform solo and ensemble music. The students wowed us with Beethoven, Bach and even some John Williams (Star Wars)! After the recital the families treated us to a wonderful reception. Great job students! I cannot wait for the next performance!

FIELD TRIP ANYONE?
The Spring Hill High School Orchestra went to see the KC Lyric Opera in their production of Cosi fan tutte. The company came to Spring Hill two weeks before to give us a workshop on the Mozart Opera. Then the day of the event students got a tour of the wonderful new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Enjoyed the Opera and went out for a late lunch at the famed Lidia's of KC restaurant.
