Ahoy Matees! Once again our Captain, Captain Toon, is challenging all of her little pirates to read!!! Because we have been able to meet her challenge of 1,000,000 minutes the past 2 years – she is raising the bar this year, challenging the students to read 1,000,100 minutes! I have NO doubt that we can meet this challenge. So hop aboard and start reading!
As an additional incentive, Sonic has offered to provide ice cream parties monthly for the classroom that reads the most minutes!
As an additonal bonus ALL students that read 2,000 minutes between the months of October February will receive 2 tickets to a Kansas City T-Bones game!
