Principal's Message

Welcome to Prairie Creek Elementary!  This is a special school where students, parents, staff, and community work together to support and enhance learning.  Whether you are new to the community or an established member, you play an important role in the vitality of our school.

We take pride in referring to our school community as a family – the Prairie Creek Family.  We hope this year provides opportunities to strengthen the partnership between school and home.

As a parent, you are always welcome at Prairie Creek!  Parents are a valuable resource and wealth of support in so many ways.  We have several opportunities available for your involvement both during the school day and beyond the school day.  There are numerous activities and events throughout the year that rely heavily on the commitment and dedication of parents, and your support is greatly appreciated by students and staff alike.  The most important role you play in your child’s education is as an advocate, with consistent encouragement and active interest.

By working together we demonstrate to our children that their learning is of highest importance.  Whatever we do as teachers to guide, shape, and motivate children can only supplement the loving commitment, interest, and instruction you provide at home.
